Richland 1st graders participated in the 3rd Annual ‘Ms. V Birthday Fundraiser’ for the SWMI SPCA to tie in with their reading unit about animals. The students poured lots of love into this project to fill a trunk full of needed items for the animals at the shelter.
The students had so much fun learning and giving! They were recognized with a ‘Doggie Day’ celebration at the end of the fundraiser where a special dog guest came to provide confidence and comfort while listening to them all become awesome readers!
