City of Charlotte recently issued the following announcement.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but unfortunately due to the inclement weather, CARA will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday, 02/03/22.
Reminder: CARA does not have a heat source and it is unsafe for staff and volunteers to be exposed to such low temperatures for an extended period of time.
We are unsure if we will be open on Saturday 02/05/22 at this time.
