Former Kalamazoo Central High School star Tayla Dillard helped lead her current team, the Grand Valley State Lakers, to a 90-70 triumph over the Wayne State Warriors on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at GVSU Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m., marking the Lakers’ first meeting with Wayne State in the tournament.
Grand Valley State is set to play its next tournament game Monday, March 16, at 7 p.m. at the GVSU Fieldhouse.
