On Thursday, March 26, Grand Valley State Lakers, featuring former Kalamazoo Central High School star Tayla Dillard, defeated the Alabama Huntsville Chargers 61-39 in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Tip-off was held at 8:30 p.m. at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

The Lakers are set to compete again at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
