Former Kalamazoo Christian High School athlete Jordyn Bonnema and her Grand Valley State Lakers team earned an 83-50 victory over the Maryville Saints on Friday, March 13 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, played at GVSU Fieldhouse at 5 p.m., marked the Lakers’ first tournament game facing the Maryville Saints.
The Lakers are set to play their next contest at GVSU Fieldhouse on Saturday, March 14, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
