Kalamazoo County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (KCBRA)

The Kalamazoo County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (KCBRA) worked with the Kalamazoo County Land Bank Authority and IPUSA to develop a Brownfield Plan and Development Agreements for the Pavilion 1, LLC project. The County Brownfield Plan was approved by the Pavilion Township Board and adopted by the Kalamazoo County Commission, constituting a cooperative inter-governmental effort between Pavilion Township and Kalamazoo County.

This Pavilion Township property has some significant challenges for redevelopment.  This plan will assist in offsetting some of the higher costs involved with putting this property to its best use and bringing additional jobs to the community.
