In the week ending Feb. 28, one gas station in Kalamazoo County sold regular gas at the lowest reported price of $2.71 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $2.91 per gallon.
Of the 77 reported gas stations located within Kalamazoo County, 57 offered regular gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in Michigan was $2.88, unchanged from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
