Mask update for returning to school

Climax-Scotts Community Schools issued the following announcement on Dec 31.

C-S Back to School Message: As you are probably aware, Omicron, the new Covid-19 variant, is highly contagious and spreading rapidly. We anticipate the rate will remain high as we return to school.  With that in mind, and in an effort to keep all of our students and staff safe, we are encouraging everyone that can wear a mask to please do so, as we return on Monday, January 3rd.  Even though the county-wide K-6 mask mandate has been rescinded, the federal mask mandate for school buses is still in effect, so all students MUST wear a mask when on the bus.

Thank you and have a safe weekend.
