Former Portage Northern High School basketball standout Myles Johnson played a key role as the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets claimed a 76-62 victory over the Dallas Baptist Patriots in the NCAA Division II Tournament on Tuesday, March 17.

The matchup tipped off at 6 p.m. at the Kenneth E. Burg Center.

Johnson tallied nine points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists in 19 minutes of play.

The Yellow Jackets will return to the court for their next contest on Wednesday, March 25, with a 6 p.m. start at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
