Former Portage Northern High School athlete Myles Johnson and the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets earned a 67-64 victory over the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.
The contest, which tipped off at 12 p.m. at Kenneth E. Burg Center, marked the first tournament meeting between the Yellow Jackets and Chaparrals.
Black Hills State advances to its next matchup, scheduled for Sunday, March 15, at 5 p.m. at the same venue.
