City of Saugatuck issued the following announcement on mar 18.

Please take notice that there will be an Educational Workshop for members of the City of Saugatuck Council, City of the Village of Douglas Council, and Saugatuck Township Board of Trustees.

The event will be held in the conference room of the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, located at 400 Culver Street, Saugatuck, MI 49453 on:

Wednesday, March 23, 2022 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide education on topics and processes important to the elected bodies of local government. Topics to be included are the structure of governments, elected official duties, Open Meetings Act requirements, Freedom of Information Act information, and revenue impacts.

Members from the City of Saugatuck Council, City of the Village of Douglas Council and Saugatuck Township Board of Trustees have been invited to attend this workshop.
