City of Davison issued the following announcement on Mar 21.

The City of Davison Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 7:05 p.m. at the Davison City Hall, 200 East Flint Street, Davison, MI 48423, for the purposes of hearing comments and input regarding a proposed zoning ordinance amendment. 

The specific request is to: 

  • Amend Chapter 1260, Add and Revise definitions pertaining to Marihuana Facilities and Establishments; 
  • Amend Chapter 1291, amend Chapter 1291, Regarding MM Medical Marihuana Overlay District, Renamed M Marihuana Overlay District. 

A detailed description of the proposed zoning amendments are more particularly described and on exhibit at City Hall.  The Davison City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., during which time the Zoning Ordinance, Zoning Map, Master Plan and any other available public documents may be examined.   Written comments regarding the above may be directed to the City of Davison, or by calling (810) 653-2191.   Persons needing special assistance should contact the City two working days prior to the meeting.
