Portage Parks & Recreation Has Moved

Portage Parks & Recreation has relocated its offices from the lower level of City Hall to a new dedicated Parks & Recreation building at 320 Library Lane (the former location of the Portage Senior Center).

The refurbished building will host not only the Parks & Recreation offices but will provide additional facilities for classes and recreational programs.  “The move to the new building will allow us to offer more programs for afterschool, indoor sports, and activities during the winter months such as yoga, ping pong leagues, and a new home for the Portage Culinary Academy cooking classes,” said Parks & Recreation Director, Kathleen Hoyle. “In the future, we will also offer rental of a commercial kitchen and meeting rooms and will launch IdeaWorx, a new business development incubator.”

Parks & Recreation office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.    For additional information, call Portage Parks & Recreation at (269) 329-4522.
