The Rockhurst Hawks, featuring former Schoolcraft Junior-Senior High School standout Tyler DeGroote, were edged 86-85 by the Northern Michigan Wildcats on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest, held at Alumni Arena at 7:30 p.m., marked the Hawks’ first tournament meeting with the Wildcats.
