Kalamzoo Department of Parks and Recreation recently issued the following announcement.

Kzoo Parks is happy to partner with the YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo to expand their already successful flag football program further into Kalamazoo. The Y is a starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active and developing healthy habits for a lifetime. Youth flag football helps to gain self-confidence and build positive relationships that lead to teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Practices begin the week of September 3. Teams may practice no more than 2 days per week throughout the season.
