Matt Longjohn's campaign refunds $1,950 in January 2019

The campaign committee of Democratic candidate Matt Longjohn, Matt Longjohn for Congress, refunded $1,950 in January, according to data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Candidates can refuse or return contributions for a variety of reasons. Contributions may be refunded, for instance, in the event that the candidate does not want to be affiliated with a contributor, a contribution exceeds legal limits, or the candidate withdraws from a race.

Matt Longjohn for Congress has refunded $1,950 total since the beginning of the year.
