City of Kalamazoo issued the following announcement on July 2.
City staff will be opening several hydrants around the city to help beat the heat. Please follow public health guidelines to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 including social distancing.
The following fire hydrants will be opened by City staff starting Friday, July 3 from approximately 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily:
- Back end of Interfaith (building 1038) far NW corner
- Krom and Clay
- Church and Norway
- Norway and Princeton
- Washington and March
- Clarence and Jackson
- Hays Park and March
- Hays Park and James
- Charlotte and Sherwood at Roosevelt Apartments
- Fairbanks and Center
