KALAMAZOO PUBLIC LIBRARY: Afrofuturism at the Alma Powell Branch to be held on October 5, 2020

Kalamazoo Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Details:

Afrofuturism is a cultural aesthetic, philosophy of science, and philosophy of history that explores the developing intersection of African diaspora culture with technology. Tune in for a short, educational video by Kala Luzia, Alma Powell branch manager, as she discusses her exciting work expanding the Afrofuturism material collection at the library. This video is part of KPL’s Geek Fest Online event series. No registration required. All ages.
