Kalamazoo College issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
A critically-acclaimed film starring Kalamazoo College alumnus Steven Yeun '05 opens today at select theaters. "Minari," which describes a Korean family's immigration experience as farmers in Arkansas, collected multiple awards at the Sundance Film Festival this year. Plus, some critics are speculating that Yeun could be the first Asian-American nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars based on his performance.
