Kalamazoo Public Schools issued the following announcement on July 15.
Summer Readiness middle school students continued learning about food production and healthy eating with a trip to the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Food Innovation Center in downtown Kalamazoo.
They toured the flexible growing center, greenhouse and food preparation area.
