Comstock Public Schools issued the following announcement on July 28.
In preparation for the upcoming school year and 2021 band camp, please review this information from our new band director, Chris Bergh:
"Hopefully, most of you have seen communication from me earlier this summer via my Gmail. If not, then greetings to you!
We have a busy week ahead of us that launches us into our 2021 Marching Season. That being said, I have several logistical needs that require your immediate attention. Please read below:
• Click this link to view our 2021 Summer/Fall Marching Calendar. Email me with any questions or potential conflicts
• Students should fill out this Getting to Know You Survey. This helps provide insight that will help us understand each other as well as give us instrumentation info for our drill writing.
If your student hasn’t filled this out yet, please have them check their school Gmail accounts or use the link above.
• Click this link to answer the Final Band Questions Survey. This information is used for t-shirt/shoe sizes and the South Haven trip (after camp). More info will follow soon regarding South Haven.
• Click this link to join our Remind App class. We need each student to have their phone (or an adult from their household) signed up with our group (both are encouraged). You can select what form of communication you receive (text, email, or app).
This app will be used frequently in the summer/fall as we don’t see each other daily, and there are more outside of school activities during marching season. As we transition to the winter/spring, it will be utilized periodically (mainly related to concerts).
