City of Charlotte issued the following announcement on Oct 11.
Curbside collection of bagged leaves will take place the following weeks:
Monday, October 18th – Thursday, October 21st
Monday, November 1st – Thursday, November 4th
Monday, November 22nd – Wednesday, November 24th
Please note: leaves must be bagged in paper yard waste bags for collection (no plastic bags). It is against city ordinance to rake leaves into the street.
No brush will be collected curbside. You may also take your yard waste, including brush, to the DPW garage.
