Comstock Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 18.
The Student Lighthouse Team at Comstock Elementary School is organizing a canned food drive from November 22 through December 10.
Collection boxes will be located in classrooms throughout the school. The grade level that collects the most food will earn a prize!
Collected food will be donated to the United Way of Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.
Please make sure that donated items are non-perishable food items only. Donate only foods that are well within the quality dates marked on the package.
