City of Kalamazoo recently issued the following announcement.
The Historic Preservation Commission will meet on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
This meeting will be conducted electronically under the authority of the Michigan Open Meetings Act (PA 267 of 1976) as amended by Public Act 254 of 2020; and Resolution 21-17, A RESOLUTION DECLARING A LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERMITTING THE CITY COMMISSION AND OTHER PUBLIC BODIES OF THE CITY TO MEET BY ELECTRONIC AND TELEPHONIC MEANS.
Accessing the Meeting
The meeting will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/KalamazooCity/) and YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIgXSSXLSDxThVaaiRMsR5Q).
Members of the public without computer or internet access can listen to the meeting by calling 269.552.6425 and entering Meeting ID 947 3042 5201 when prompted.
Public Input and Participating in the Meeting
Persons who wish to contact members of the Historic Preservation Commission to provide input about items on the meeting agenda or to make general comments may do so on December 8th between 5:30 p.m. and the end of the public comment period by calling 269.226.6573 and leaving a recording.

Persons with disabilities who need accommodations to effectively participate in this meeting should contact the City Clerk’s Office at cokcityclerk@kalamazoocity.org by 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6th to request assistance.
