City of Galesburg recently issued the following announcement.
Grab your phone and head to the Galesburg Historical Museum on Wednesday between 4:30 - 6:00 pm because it's #MuseumSelfieDay! Post a pic of yourself with your favorite item. Curator Keith Martin chose this fashionable lady from the 1930s to feature in his selfie.
Her style was called "moderne" back in the day but was renamed "art deco" in the 1960s.
