The Kalamazoo Wings are playing at the Xtreme Arena in Coralville, Iowa today and tomorrow, only the second visit to the venue in the team's history.
Puck drop is at 8 p.m. both days for the match between the K-WIngs (19-16-0-0) and the Heartlanders (13-18-5-1), the team announced in its weekly report. The weekend's contests are the first of five consecutive road games.

The K-Wings go into the weekend games with a 10-4 record when outshooting their opponent, 12-4 when scoring first and 10-1 when leading after two periods, according to the team's weekly report.
The game schedule for the K-Wings finds the team in Massachusetts Feb. 4-6, against the Worcester Railers at the DCU Center in Worcester, the team states on its website. The K-Wings are slated to return home Feb. 9, to face off against the Wheeling Nailers. The annual "Pink Ice" game, to benefit the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation, is scheduled for Feb. 11.
