City of Kalamazoo issued the following announcement on Feb 1.
Work to replace an aging culvert on Stadium Drive is scheduled to begin Monday, February 14. The culvert is located just south of Oliver Street at Arcadia Creek. Work is expected to be completed by April 30.
There will be traffic shifts and lane closures in the project area, but one lane in each direction will remain open throughout the project.
The culvert is being replaced in preparation for a larger project planned for Stadium Drive later this year which will reconstruct the street, add a landscaped median, add a multi-use path, and make ADA and pedestrian signal improvements between Howard and Lovell Streets.
