Bell’s Brewery is expanding its reach in the Midwest, offering its No, Yeah beer in four new states while also introducing a 12-pack in its home state of Michigan.
The beer is now being offered in Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, and Pennsylvania, according to a company news release. It previously was available in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Carrie Yunker, Bell’s executive vice president, said in the release that the beer has proven to be a successful offering for the company.
“It’s a top seller in our home market, including the Great Lakes region,” she said. "And it wasn’t long after its debut that it was recognized as one of the best out there, a reflection of all the hard work that went into bringing this beer to life.”
No, Yeah, a golden ale, offers 4.5% alcohol content by volume, according to the brewery’s release. The label and design refer to Midwestern politeness; the beer’s colorful packaging demonstrates personality and the name connects with consumers.
The beer was unveiled in early 2021. Primarily available on tap or in six-pack cans, No, Yeah claimed the silver medal at Denver’s 2021 Great American Beer Festival, the release said.
Founded in 1985 by Larry Bell in Kalamazoo, Bell’s Brewery has maintained a goal of brewing creative and artistic ales, according to the company’s release. The brewery currently produces more than 20 beers for distribution from its brewery in Comstock, Michigan. Since its inception, it has become a leading craft brewery, with its beers offered in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Its notable brands include Oberon Ale, Two Hearted Ale, Light Hearted Ale, and Official Hazy IPA, the release said. The brewery noted that it also serves small-batch beers out of the Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo.
