Friday, Feb. 14: Portage Central High School standout Jake Gernon’s college team loses to Michigan State Spartans

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Portage Central High School standout Jake Gernon’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 6:10 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Michigan State Spartans.
