On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Gull Lake High School standout Mandy Esman’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

The game took place at Lamson Park. This was their first matchup against the Ragin' Cajuns this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at Lamson Park against Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.
