On Thursday, May 22, former Schoolcraft High School standout Lauren Evans’ current collegiate team the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals won 7-4 against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jim Frost Stadium at 1:50 p.m. and was the first matchup against the North Georgia Nighthawks in the tournament.

The Saginaw Valley State Cardinals’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 12 p.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
