On Sunday, March 2, former Portage Central High School standout Gavin Brasosky’s current college team, the Kansas Jayhawks, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Omaha Mavericks.

The game took place at Hoglund Ballpark. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Jayhawks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 3 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark against Milwaukee Panthers.
