On Friday, March 28, former Portage Central High School standout Jake Gernon’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, lost 11-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Miami RedHawks.

The game took place at McKie Field at Hayden Park. This was their first matchup against the RedHawks this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at McKie Field at Hayden Park against Miami RedHawks.
