On Saturday, March 14, Mackenzie Miller, a former standout from Schoolcraft Junior-Senior High School, and her current team, the Wayne State Warriors, suffered a 70-90 defeat to the Grand Valley State Lakers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at GVSU Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m. and marked the Warriors’ opening matchup against Grand Valley State in the tournament.
