Zaneta Adams made tremendous strides in expanding outreach and services to veterans in Michigan. Under her leadership, the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency improved its support infrastructure for veterans—including expanding its 24/7 call center  1-800-MICH-VET.

“We had the privilege of hosting Zaneta Adams as our guest speaker at the Kalamazoo County Veterans Day Ceremony in November. During the event, she shared her valuable insights about her service time and post-discharge experience. Her speech was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices and contributions made by our veterans and the importance of supporting them in their post-service lives.

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency is the central coordinating agency, providing support, care, advocacy, and service to veterans and their families. They can also perform check-ins on Michigan veterans to ensure they receive their benefits.
