The hiring process for Public Safety Officers is open through Friday, November 20.
Reason #290 to Join KDPS- Career Advancement and Specialty Units!
KDPS offers many different career paths for officers. Officers can choose to focus on the firefighting aspect of KDPS and become an Engine Operator. Others may want to become a Community Policing Officer or K9 Handler. Other may serve as a Drug Investigator or Fire Marshal or choose to join the Bomb Squad, Technical Rescue Team, Honor Guard, or SWAT team (to name just a few!)
