The City of Kalamazoo issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
Know a young person who is dedicated to creating a more just and equitable future?
Nominations are currently being accepted for 2021 Social Justice Youth Awards. The awards recognize youth between the ages of 12 and 19 for community service, volunteerism, and leadership towards causes that promote justice and equity for everyone.
Award winners are recognized for their accomplishments by the
Kalamazoo City Commission and receive a $300 scholarship.
