Kalamazoo Public Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 29.
KPS will use the funds from the Stryker Johnston Foundation to establish a Social and Emotional Learning and Professional Development Center.
The funds will also be used to increase social and emotional learning skills and wellbeing of KPS students, families and staff, the superintendent said.
