Annual Egg Hunt | Kzoo Parks

The Annual Egg Hunt will return to Mayors’ Riverfront Park on Saturday, April 8 and everyone is invited to join in the spring fun on Homer Stryker Field from 2 to 4 p.m.

Thousands of eggs will be hidden for children to find. There will be three egg hunts for children ages 9 and under so that children can enjoy it with others of the same age:

  • Ages 0 - 3: 2:30 - 2:45 p.m.
  • Ages 4 - 6: 3:00 - 3:15 p.m.
  • Ages 7 - 9: 3:30 - 3:45 p.m.
Adults will be allowed on the grass to help with the hunt for ages 0-3. Families with children in different age groups will be allowed to hunt together. Each child will receive a bag with candy and toys after their hunt.

In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy springtime crafts, fun themed games, and take pictures with the Bunny, Growlers’ mascot Porter, and Moment of Magic’s princesses. The Kalamazoo Growlers will also have bounce houses set up and food available for purchase.

There will also be drawings for prize baskets prior to the event. Online registration for the egg hunt is required in order to enter the prize drawing. Registering ahead of time will also speed up event check in. Online registration is available at www.kzooparks.org/egghunt

Prize drawing winners will be contacted by email and announced on social media on April 6. Winners must be present at the event in order to claim their prize. Prizes can be picked up at event check-in. If families aren't interested in entering the prize drawing, egg hunt registration will also be available on-site.

This event is free, and although the activities are geared towards families with children, all community members are welcome.

The Egg Hunt is presented by Advia Credit Union and possible with support from the Kalamazoo Growlers.
