Western Michigan University Board of Trustees to consider wage agreement and capital plan

The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet on Thursday, Oct. 30, at noon in the WMU Student Center ballroom. The meeting agenda includes a vote on a wage agreement with the university’s Police Officers Association.

Trustees will also review and consider several other items. These include the approval of the university’s five-year capital outlay plan for state fiscal years 2027 to 2031, curriculum proposals, a personnel report, and an easement request from the city of Kalamazoo.

Members of the public who wish to speak during the meeting’s public comment sections must email Dr. Kahler Schuemann by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
